MEET BIG BENEFACTOR
James Rubino, Rubino Home Ventures
James Rubino is the Owner of Rubino Home Ventures - a Short Term Rental Management Company - while also serving as the Director of Marketing with The Ali Companies which is a culmination of businesses in the Capital Region.
James has been part of Big Brothers Big Sisters previously where he served as a Big Brother. James always strives to give back and pay it forward, so that those can receive the same opportunities growing up that he was fortunate enough to have.
James is a graduate of La Salle Institute & Marist College where he played Division I Baseball and received a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. He is the former Vice President of BNI Action All-Stars & is on the Board of Directors for the Mohawk Hudson Investors Exchange.
In his spare time, James enjoys being active and around sports, hiking, traveling, spending time with family, talking real estate & playing with his dog Pippa. He currently resides in Wynantskill, NY.

Little Amina and Big Wendy
Little Amina and Big Wendy have been matched for two years! They spend a lot of time together and love to chit-chat! Their favorite activities are swimming, going out to lunch, and attending Big Brothers Big Sisters events! Right now, Wendy and Amina are working on reading skills and math skills. They like to practice multiplication tables and talk about books while they’re in the car together. Amina’s mother is so grateful that Amina has a role model who can help her work on these skills. Amina also is very interested in fashion and modeling, and might want to be a model when she gets older! This is a very exciting opportunity for her, and she is thrilled to be participating!
