Annually, hundreds of people across our Capital Region community come together to support the life-changing work of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Join us for an event this year and raise the funds to support the mentoring relationships that ignite the power, promise, and potential of our community's youth.

BOWL FOR KIDS' SAKE
Sunday, March 12th, 2023 at Spare Time

Strike up some fun with BBBSCR this March! Join us for a Luau on the Lanes at Spare Time, Clifton Park for one of our three time slots. This family-friendly fundraiser is open to all ages--no experience is required!

Join BBBSCR to launch our school supply drive in support of our Littles. Help us to send 300 Capital Region youth back to school this fall fully equipped with the tools for success! Starting May 18th, a donation bin can be found in the lobby of The Blake Annex.

ANNUAL ACHIEVEMENT CELEBRATION

Please join us for our annual celebration that recognizes the many accomplishments of our Littles through the 2022-23 academic year. This special evening--for our Littles and their Bigs and families--highlights the matches that are graduating out of the Big Brothers Big Sisters programs.

BIG BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY
Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023

Join us for an afternoon of Ice Cream Sundaes (courtesy of Stewart's Shops), fun in the pool, crafts, and zany contests! And, every child in our program will receive a new backpack filled with school supplies (courtesy of Staples Albany and Glenmont and Target Rensselaer and Latham). Let's kick off the new school year together!

BIG CORNAMENT

Join us for this NEW pop-up Corn Hole Tournament in which teams comprised of community members and businesses raise vital funds that help at-risk kids realize their potential, one relationship at a time. Guests will enjoy friendly competition between corporate teams, and fun and fellowship while raising funds in support of BBBSCR’s one-to-one mentoring programs.

This new-style event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region features the presentation of the Igniting Potential Award to an individual and business for their outstanding leadership and support for our mentoring programs. In addition, guests are encouraged to participate in our spin on a silent auction – the Big 365 Board of Chance. Plus, join us for an afternoon
round of golf before the evening's festivities!
