Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region (BBBSCR), an established mentoring agency, is seeking a dedicated and motivated entry-level Site Program Coordinator. The Program Department is charged with implementing a Site Based mentoring program with Siena College. The Site Program Coordinator will play an important role in strengthening the relationship between BBBSCR and Siena College. The Program Coordinator will develop a recruitment plan, a curriculum, and a resource development/sustainability plan for the BBBSCR-Siena College pilot program.  Working through the Siena College AmeriCorps VISTA Fellows Program, this VISTA will develop resources that will bring national best practices and local community resources to BBBSCR as part of a 3-Year project that will increase services for community members. The VISTA will gain an intricate understanding of non-profit management; program evaluation, community engagement, including networking and collaborating; volunteer management; and working with families.

We are looking for a self-starting, flexible, creative, and passionate professional with excellent communications skills who is comfortable working in a small team. The right person will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
